Coaching

Coaching is a highly effective process that deepens awareness and learning, enabling teams and individuals to achieve markedly better results and enhance their quality of life with less effort.

Most of our coaching involves working closely with senior individuals and with teams, guiding them to clarify their core purpose and goals, creating strategies and plans to achieve those goals, then building their capability by developing the skills and behaviours needed to succeed.

We draw upon a wealth of innovative approaches to help shift entrenched thinking and open up individuals and groups to explore previously unimagined futures. We encourage reflection and objective examination of professional and personal lives, helping our clients identify the positive aspects and those they want to improve.

As with our facilitation, training and development and stakeholder engagement, our role is to act as a catalyst for exploring and attaining constructive change. We believe that people have much innate knowledge, and our expertise lies in drawing that out, shedding light on new contexts for applying their knowledge and enabling them to discover new perspectives.

Team Coaching and the Klein Group Instrument (KGI™)

kgi_melb_disc
Illuma Consulting was instrumental in introducing the KGI™ to Australia in March 2009, when Professor Robert Klein accepted Rhonda Tranks' invitation to conduct a series of workshops to launch this highly effective tool.

We utilise a range of models, exercises, and assessment tools in our coaching assignments. The latest addition to our suite of tools for coaching individuals and teams is the ground-breaking Klein Group Instrument for Effective Leadership and participation in Teams (KGI™).

Turn teams around with the KGI™

Three decade of practice, research and analysis have culminated in a powerful new tool that achieves major improvements in teamwork. The KGI™ is an indispensible assessment instrument that transforms leadership, empowers team members and delivers results. Your team will quickly become a whole that's much greater than the sum of its parts.

Develop team skills individually ... or as part of a team

The KGI™ works with equally well with individuals and groups. Taken on your own, the instrument gives you an Individual Report which is a powerful coaching tool for developing essential leadership and team-participation skills, and becoming a catalyst in team settings. For team development, all members participate and receive a KGI™ Individual Profile with confidential and personalised feedback. The additional KGI™ Group Profile is an aggregate group report that details a comprehensive set of key success factors, and is ideal for coaching a team to higher levels of performance.
