The Professional Facilitator Certification Program provides successful candidates with the credential IAF Certified™ Professional Facilitator (CPF) that sets the international standards for Process Facilitation.
The assessment process is based on rigorous peer review of knowledge, experience and demonstration of skills. It includes a stringent application process, a series of interviews, demonstrations and an assessment by an international panel against the IAF’s core competencies.
The CPF designation indicates attainment of these core competencies. It offers clients an assurance that those who are certified are qualified to design and provide group facilitation services.
Rhonda Tranks undertook her initial certification in January 2007 and was re-certified in 2011 and 2014. She is now also an IAF assessor with the IAF.
The IAF is the only internationally recognised, non-profit, industry association for Facilitators and the CPF is the only internationally recognised, non-commercial, professional credential for Facilitators. You can only receive the CPF designation from the IAF.
